Jonge Utrechtenaers was founded in 2011 with the aim to create a space for LGBTQI+ young adults and starters to meet each other. We’re there for LGBTQI+ people looking for understanding, connection and socialising. If you want to meet get to know new people, you’re come to the right place.

Our Just Drinks programme consists of a monthly drink in Café Kalff and is an easy way to meet new people. Just Drinks is accessible to all; no matter who you are, you’ll be met with open arms.

Inspiring JU is our activity program, where we create space to discuss important themes. Our Speaking Queerly sessions make major debates tangible, and together we discuss their impact on the everyday life of LGBTQI+ people. We work together with many partners to provide a diverse and inclusive program that aims to give LGBTQI+ individuals a stronger voice in societal debates.

The board coordinates the activities that JU has to offer. We're a close-knit team of volunteers thay enjoys organising different activities. Perhaps you'd be interested to join us? We're always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers who'd like to help out! In that, just send a message to Imke
